What can you expect your student to gain from St. Philip’s Student Ministries?

  1. Relationships – Our leaders share the Gospel with students, as well as their own lives (1 Thessalonians 2:8).
  2. Invitations – Our leaders invite students to be part of events, like Acts (our high school student ministry available to all leaders that serve at Hangin’ In – held on Wednesday nights from 6:30-8:30 PM) and Hangin’ In, trips, like Laurelville and Surf City that are put on by the Pittsburgh Kids Foundation, and, as stated above, their lives. Your son’s or daughter’s leader will invite your son or daughter to breakfast before school, or Starbucks after school, or to simply hang out on a Friday night. We desire to see students grow in their relationships with Jesus, and we know, looking to Jesus, the best way for this to happen is through mentoring relationships between leaders and students. Our leaders strive to be involved in the lives of the students they lead and count it as a privilege to do so.
  3. Prayer – Our leaders will pray with and for your students, as well as their families & friends.
